Team Brick Alberta
Team Brick Alberta was selected in early April after players from all over Alberta were chosen from an extensive tryout process. 2014 marks the second season for Team Brick coaching staff lead by Steve Serdachny, Dan Serdachny, Travis Toomey, Sean Connauton and Ian Gordon.
Team Brick preparation began immediately after the selection process was complete and has been an exceptional experience for the coaching staff and players. The team has played and participated in tournaments hosted in Edmonton, Calgary, California and Winnipeg with excellent results. We look forward to participating in the world’s best super novice tournament.
We welcome all teams to the City of Edmonton and the 25th annual Brick Invitational Tournament. We also would like to thank Bill Comrie, Craig Styles, Andy Wigston and all the Brick tournament organizing committee, a special thank you to ATB financial and all of our sponsors, the families of our players and coaches and everyone who has put in an incredible amount of time and effort to the Team Brick program. Team BC Junior Canucks
The BC Junior Canucks (Formally Pacific Vipers) is entering its 20th year invite to this most prestigious Event for 9 and 10 year olds. This is the fourth year we adopted the BC Junior Canucks as BC’s Brick Team. We have selected players throughout the province of BC with Skates and evaluations starting May of last year, with finalization of roster April of this year. We have representation from various spring programs Vancouver Vipers, BC Bears, Okanagan Lakers, North American Canucks, with over 11 minor hockey associations represented and three imports from Denver area. The tradition of BC Alumni in the NHL Brent Seabrook, Karl Alzner, Kyle Turris, Martin Jones and Jordan Eberle, Tyler Johnson, Ryan Nugent Hopkins, Seth Jones, Morgan Riley, and many more to come.
We like to thank Mr Comrie again for this vision of having the best 9 and 10 year olds come together and Craig Styles and Andy Wingston on keeping this great experience going and to the Future Brick Volunteers to whom will continue to keep this great tournament going. Also like to thank our host Craig Reed with his continued support over the 20 years we have been in attendance.

Team Junior Bruins
The Boston Junior Bruins team was finalized late in the winter of 2014 and is proud to represent the greater Boston area at the Brick tournament. We would like to thank the Brick tournament, Mr. Bill Comrie, Mr. Craig Styles, Mr. Andy Wigston, all the staff members and volunteers for the opportunity to participate in the best youth hockey tournament in the world.
The roster includes players from Massachusetts (14), Rhode Island (1), New York (1) and New Brunswick (1). We are excited to be back at the Brick and look forward to a great week of hockey! Go B’s!
Team California
The California Brick Hockey program is celebrating its 25th consecutive year of attending the Edmonton Brick Tournament. We would like to thank tournament founders, Bill Comrie, Craig Styles, and Andy Wigston who have been here since the first puck dropped at the West Edmonton Mall back in August of 1990. Congratulations on your 25th Anniversary. You have created an incredibly special hockey event in North America that is rivaled by none. Thank you to all the tournament volunteers and sponsors and GOOD LUCK to all players and coaches from Team California!
Team Chicago Junior Blackhawk
The Chicago Jr. Blackhawk roster was selected following an invite only tryout at the United Center in Chicago, IL. Sixty-eight players were invited to the final tryout at the UC in January. The final roster of seventeen players has competed in one Spring tournament, the Chi Town Shuffle. The Jr. Blackhawks lost an OT thriller in the semi-final game, 2-1. Since the Shuffle, the team has been practicing and scrimmaging to prepare for the Brick Tournament. The Jr. Blackhawks are made up of fourteen Illinois residents and one added import from each of Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Team Connecticut Yankees
The Connecticut Yankees would like to thank Mr. Craig Styles, Mr. Bill Comrie and the Brick Competition committee for their continued support and inclusion of the Connecticut Yankee AAA Youth Hockey program. The 2014 edition of the CT Yankees were chosen in March after a very competitive tryout.
The Connecticut Yankees players come from some of the top AAA Youth Hockey organizations on the East Coast. Not only are the Connecticut Yankees focused on fielding the best team possible to represent the region but the organization is very development focused and makes sure maximizing the players development is a key goal of the spring season. Therefore the team has been practicing throughout the spring along with participating in some of the top pre-Brick tournaments.
The opportunity to play in the best youth hockey tournament in the world has both motivated and excited the players. The players are looking forward to participating in the Brick tournament and take part in a once in a lifetime experience in Edmonton. The CT Yankees would like to thank all the organizers, volunteers and sponsors for making the Brick experience one of a kind. Best of luck to all the participants in the 2014 Brick tournament.
Team Detroit Red Wings
Little Caesars the parent organization of the Detroit Red Wings, has supported AAA hockey since 1968, the year the LC AAA program was founded. The organization remains one of the most respected and competitive amateur hockey organizations in North America. Currently over 50 Little Caesars AAA alumni are playing , or played, in the NHL. Hundreds of others have established collegiate and or pro hockey careers. It is from this foundation that this year's Detroit Red Wings Brick team is built. The 2014 team is mainly composed of players from Southeastern Michigan but we have welcomed two imports one from Chicago and one from Florida and we are coached by a nonparent staff. Since coming together as a team in early April the team has participated in 3 tournaments in Toronto and have been working hard in preparation including a training camp in Detroit just before heading to Edmonton for this prestigious event. We would like to thank our sponsor Little Caesars Sports for providing us this unique opportunity.

Team Minnesota
To support the initiatives of the Brick Tournament, the Minnesota Blades organization is proud to present the 2014 Team Minnesota Hockey Club. Team Minnesota has attracted the best and most talented nine and ten year old players within Minnesota’s boundaries. The Minnesota Blades organization has worked tirelessly over the last 12 months to find the right caliber of players to meet the talent expectations of playing in the prestigious Brick Tournament. Team Minnesota looks forward to competing against the best ’04s in North America.
On behalf of the coaching staff, players and parents, Team Minnesota would like to thank all of the Brick tournament volunteers and organizers for providing these young hockey players a once in a life time opportunity to compete in The Brick Tournament. Team Montreal
The Montreal Ice Storm Brick Team is eagerly looking forward to competing in the 2014 Brick Tournament in Edmonton. This year's team was selected after extensive scouting, and very competitive tryouts held in Montreal in December and in Trois Rivières in early April. Players on this year's edition come from not only the greater Montreal region, but also from places such Quebec City, Victoriaville, Gatineau and Chicoutimi. The team will play in tournaments and exhibition games and practice together in preparation for the Brick tournament. The coaching staff feels that the 2014 team should compete hard in the tournament and be full measure for the competition it will face in Edmonton. The Montreal Ice Storm is proud to represent Quebec at the Brick Tournament, and extends a big "MERCI" to The Brick, Craig, Andy and all of the sponsors and volunteers who contribute to making this tournament the world class experience that it is, and one that the players and parents will remember for many years to come. We are all looking forward to a week of fun and great hockey in Edmonton!
Team Pennsylvania
TEAM PENNSYLVANIA 2004 was selected in March 2014. Each player went through an extensive identification and evaluation process which began in September 2013. The final roster was determined at a selection camp in York, Pennsylvania. The team will compete in two pre-Brick tournaments: the Top Tier in May 2014 and the CCHA North American Spring Showcase in June 2014. Besides the tournaments, Team Pennsylvania 2004 will participate in a series of practice sessions in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Penn State University and Harrisburg. We would like to thank our sponsors– the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Philadelphia Flyers and GNC – for providing us with this unique opportunity. In addition, we would like to thank Bill Comrie, Craig Styles, Andy Wigston, the Brick tournament committee and all volunteers for their hospitality and generosity. Team Toronto Pro Hockey
The 2004 edition of the Pro Hockey Toronto Brick Team is made up of some of the very best 2004 born hockey players in the Greater Toronto Area. Final selections were made in Mid-February and as of May 2014 this team has been on the ice many times practicing and have won their only tournament entered to date – The Bauer Pro Hockey Spring Shootout. This talented group of players looks forward to their continued development as a team and competitive game schedule leading up to and including The Brick Tournament. Team Saskatchewan Junior PATS
Team Saskatchewan would like to thank the Brick Tournament committee for accepting our team to participate in such a prestigious tournament. We would also like to thank the “NEW” Regina Pat ownership group for sponsoring our team this year, and so on. This year’s team will be competing in the Regina AAA Subaru Auto Gallery Tournament and the North American Hockey Classic in Winnipeg. Team Toronto Bulldogs
The Toronto Bulldogs 2004 Brick Team is a hardworking, gritty, and focused group of individuals, who when put together, exemplify the core values of a team. Their achievements prior to the Edmonton Brick Tournament have been realized because of their commitment of working together, for each other. This group looks forward to continuing their efforts towards a successful tournament.

Team Winnipeg Junior Jet
The Winnipeg Junior Jets hockey team was finalized in December of 2013 after a rigorous series of try-outs and represents the best athletes from Winnipeg and surrounding areas. The team is grateful for the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Brick Super Novice Invitational Tournament and congratulates the tournament organizers on their 25th anniversary.
